I received similar feedback that when the charging system senses the battery is not at an optimum charge, the feature is automatically disabled until the system senses a sufficient battery charge.

Where is that sensor, and can it be replaced independently? The stop start is “not ready” because the dashboard display says the driver door is open even though the door is closed.
